The UK bakery chain Greggs set up a hot dog cart in Madison Square in New York on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 to give away free hot dogs and to record New Yorkers' reactions. The chain is branching out from its sausage rolls and pastries and has introduced coffee and low-fat sandwiches recently. Greggs is the largest bakery chain in the UK with over 1600 outlets. The Madison Square event appeared to have been created solely for the purpose of taping New Yorker's reaction to their hot dogs, perhaps for possible use in a commercial or other advertising.
