"Cow head #2" is seen stored in a lot at Hudson River Park in New York City on Sunday, March 30, 2014. The architectural ornament along with numerous others is being stored in a lot in the park for future use in the complex park. The terra-cotta cow heads were originally from the New York Butchers' Dressed Meat Company prior to its demolition. These artifacts and others were part of the Landmarks Preservation Commission's salvage program which was discontinued in 2000. Some of the salvaged material was given away to Hudson River Park.
