The chain has announced that it will switch it's cooking oil to a non-hydrongenated blend of corn and soy oils in order to reduce the amount of transfats in it's products. The 6,200 U.S. and Canadian restaurants in the chain will begin using the new oil in August 2006 and transfat will be cut an average of 95 percent per serving. (© Richard B. Levine)
